Let's dive into techniques used to communicate more clearly around key moments in the dance! We'll work all the way through the structure of a pattern to give you more tools to play with your partner at the beginning, middle, and the end of a pattern by working through more mindful posting, anchors, and lead/follow connections. Learn how to utilize a more consistent connection in order to spice up your West Coast Swing and find yourself really starting to dance through your basics! Useful for leads and follows.

Syncopated Expression
Description: Stop memorizing someone else’s expression to music and start dancing your own unique rhythms. Join us to deepen your understanding and ability to express and truly dance (not just patterns) to multiple genres of music. This intensive will have a focus on syncopated rhythms to be danced not just by the feet but by all zones of the body. Walk away with increased confidence and ideas in how to uniquely express in a way that feels authentic to you with practical drills and strategies to apply on your own dance journey.
